However, this technology also comes with challenges, with one of the major issues being the latency in remote image transmission. To achieve real-time surgery experiences akin to in-person surgery, it's imperative to maintain the delay from the camera to the surgeon's eyes within 70 milliseconds, which is currently one of the primary challenges in the field of remote surgery.

 

Solution 

Now, let's delve deeper into our technical solution. We offer a comprehensive integrated solution based on the NVIDIA's Jetson Orin™ platform. Through low-latency HDMI/SDI DMA capture technology, we ensure that 3D camera images enter the system with minimal latency, as low as 15 microseconds. Our SDK also integrates NVIDIA's state-of-the-art AV1 encoding and decoding technology to enhance image quality while conserving bandwidth. Combined with YUAN’s unique ultra-low-latency SkyLink X network transmission technology, the overall system achieves astonishingly low Glass-to-Glass latency, well below 50 milliseconds.

Additionally, we leverage the full potential of NVIDIA's Jetson AGX Orin™ platform, which supports AI computation capabilities of up to 275 TOPS. This capability is not only used for real-time assistance to physicians in assessing local tissue but also for instant image depth calculations, further enhancing the performance of 3D robotic arms and significantly improving the quality of surgical procedures.
