Bringing AI-Powered Healthcare to Rural Communities : 50 AI Ultrasound Systems Donated Across Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan — In a major initiative to close the healthcare gap between urban and rural areas, YUAN High-Tech ( YUAN ) has launched its "iGood Liver AI" system. Powered by the high-performance NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ platform for edge computing, this advanced smart ultrasound diagnostic tool is designed to provide real-time assistance to frontline physicians.
Developed in close collaboration with National Taiwan University Hospital and the Good Liver Foundation, the project has successfully deployed 50 AI-assisted ultrasound systems to rural and underserved healthcare facilities across Taiwan this year. The system acts as a "second pair of eyes" for medical professionals during routine screenings, instantly analyzing ultrasound images to detect and identify earlystage suspicious liver lesions when they are most treatable.
